I’m heartbroken to read this sad news about Joyce! I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to reach her via email, text and phone. In desperation I googled Joyce’s name and to my shock this beautiful obituary appeared. Joyce and I were friends in Middletown since our kids were babes. She and I talked about our kids and then moved on to feathered friends and other wildlife, which we both enjoyed. Joyce even told me how she’d leave an umbrella in her car so she could shoo along errant turtles in the road. Thanks to Joyce I did same! I know she adored her grandkids and always always chatted about them. Your Mom and grandma was a beautiful human being and I’m sooooo sorry. Roseann-Middletown

God took you from us last night. He knew how much you loved Him and He needed a Special Angel ! I have a hole in my heart. I won’t be able to call you or laugh with you or complain about stupid things. I will miss you so much, I already do. What a sad day this is.You were a joy ;funny, loyal, smart abs a beautiful woman with a loving heart . We were the Best of Friends and I loved you . I can barley look at this and read it. I CAN NOT believe this has happened. My dear cousin/sister I WILL MISS YOU FOREVER! I searched for you my dear freind,Joyce you were my dearest friend,I lost contact with you when I moved..the friendship we shared as children and when we got married as teenagers.you were and will always be in my cherished memories..I will see you again in heaven,we will have rosst beef and gravy..loved so much.
