Mort and I were friends at Notre Dame, and graduated together 64 years ago. We
renewed our friendship when Mort moved to Clifton Park. Since I live in Saratoga, we
would see each other at McGregor and elsewhere. A year ago we were planning to
go together to our annual class luncheon in Chicago, but both of us cancelled out
for various reasons. He was a delightful guy, fun to be around, dedicated to his wife and family. My wife Helen and I send our sincere condolences. We are in Florida and
unable to pay our respects in person.

Dear Aunt Jane and Kelly Cousins,
Uncle Mort lit up whatever room he entered. His energy, his love for whatever the topic and his sense of fun will stay with all who knew him. May we all keep those memories sharp and keep the legacy of Mort Kelly going.
Please know we will be thinking of you long after we return to Texas after the funeral. He is now resting in peace and may you also rest easily as you make transitions without him.
Love, Nan and Tom

Bridget,
I am so sorry for your loss. From your stories told at work back in “the day” we all got to know Mort as a dad, a man of integrity at work, avid golfer, and a personable, well liked man. You were all blessed to be part of his life and he was blessed with all of you. May the many memories created by you all sustain you through the days and months ahead. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

My sincere and deepest sympathy to Mrs. Kelly and all the Kelly family. I feel so lucky to have lived my formative years across the street from the Kelly family. Mort was so full of life and love. He was always so attentive and loved to joke around with everyone he met. He was the life of the party at the neighborhood block parties. I always remember Mort and Jane climbing our front hill on Christmas eve for a toast to St. Nicholas. He was one of a kind and I will cherish the memories forever.
