Obituary of Douglas J. Bagley

Douglas J. Bagley, Sr. age 52 of Halfmoon passed away suddenly on Thursday August 31, 2017. Born in 1964, he was the son of Carolyn and the William Bagley. He was predeceased by his sister Michele Kerley and his nephew Michael Messier.

Doug worked as a carpenter, remodeling and building custom homes. He loved riding his Harley’s and enjoyed cooking. He never met a stranger and most of all, he cherished spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children Douglas Bagley, Jr., Matia (Joshua) Dunn, and Jacob Bagley, siblings William (Darlene) Bagley, Jr., Joseph Bagley, James Bagley, and Diane Bagley. He is also survived by his grandchildren Lucas, Payton, Jaydon, and Charlotte, and his nieces and nephews Marcella (Burt) Bouchey, Melissa and Paul Lambert, Gabrielle LaBello, Jessica, Marissa, Carolyn, Joseph Jr., Michaela, Romeo, Ricky, and Riley Bagley, many cousins, the little man in his life, Kevin, who lovingly referred to him as Babe,  and his most recent “adoption” into the family, Nick Ahearn.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, in Clifton Park.
