Dear family, I'm so sorry about your loss. I would like to share an encouraging scripture at John 5:28, 29 which reads "Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.." I look forward to this promise of seeing our dead loved ones again and I wanted to share it with you.

My sincere condolences for your families lost. Doug was a wonderful warm heart loving individual. You met as a stranger left as friends if not family . He was always protective of his female friends I couldn't have asked for a better man to have my back . I'm gonna miss him unfortunately I hadn't spent any length of quality time with him in the past several years but we spoke several times on the phone . I'm gonna miss those future conversations . I'll still have them but they'll be one sided til we cross paths again.
Rest well my friend for when we met a gain it's gonna be along evening !

Dear Bill and Family- Doug was a good friend to me in my teens and stayed in touch with my parents over the years.
My heart is with you all, as your family has seen too much sadness. As others have stated, he had a big heart. Very sorry about your loss. Love and prayers.

Douglas, what can I say, I have no words to describe how strongly I felt for you, and no words that could ever express how much I will miss you and your presence in my life and here at home.. They broke the mold when you were made, ily and imy Doug.

My heart broke when I got the call...
I will never forget how Douglas could walk into a room full of strangers and own it within seconds, his giant but gentle hands, his hawaiin pizza/coleslaw & mushroom burgers, his love of family and how he loved to sing out loud randomly...
His favorite to sing, 'I believe I can Fly'....
How ironic.
My sincere thoughts and prayers to Carol, Di, Bill, Joe along with all family, friends.
Douglas, you stole the hearts of many, Mine included... until we meet again, may you Rest In Peace.

Rest in peace cousin Doug. It has been a long time since our family's hung out. May you walk with God in heaven and say hello to my brother Norman, and my dad (your Uncle Charlie). We will all meet again one day. Until then, I pray for your family and the loss of you at such a young age. I live too far to make it up to say Good Bye, so this will have to do. Fly High Cuz.
