Jeanne, I am so very sorry and saddened to hear of Carl's passing. I will very much miss the wave and occasional chat with him when I passed by as he puttered around outside. I am thinking of you and your family and hope you will call if there is anything I can do. I'm only a few steps away.

Dear Jeanne and family. As a young boy living with my grandparents I often had the opportunity of being with Carl at many of the family functions. Always a big smile , a firm handshake and he always asked " How you doing young man". I've known Carl as a kind hearted man with Jeanne by his side always. Souls gravitate to those souls that are meant to be in this mortal journey together. I'm most fortunate to had met your Carl and my prayers will be for you and him that one day you will meet again. I have many fond memories of Uncle Carl. His jumbo egg and kielbasa breakfasts, his union hats, the army numb chucks on the wall behind the bar, shooting the tapping bird through the window! My favorite memory though is from the old house. During overnight visits when my brother and I were little we always wanted to sleep in the basement and watch HBO late at night (we didn't have cable). UC would sometimes catch us watching and he'd ask us "Are your parents okay with you watching this?" and we'd always say sure, absolutely. He would just nod, smile and walk away. Just the coolest uncle! RIP UC!!

I'm so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Carl. I didn't know you or your husband personally, however, my husband and I often saw you at St. Mary's Church until we changed parishes. I just want to let you know, that after my mom MaryAnn Tozzi passed away, your husband was instrumental in helping my Dad -- Tony, with everything he needed to know and do to acquire the health benefits and other benefits from Bendix he has been able to have since her passing. It's been 2 1/2 years since mom's passing and Dad still talks about how Carl helped him and how much he appreciated all he did to help him during that very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during your very difficult time.
