I'm so sorry for you loss of your beautiful Son. We are going thru this hell right now with my 22 yr old Grandson. My poor daughter is so distraught. My best friend of over 50 yrs, her sister and herself just convinced him to go to St Peters it has taken weeks watching him to accomplish this. He has lost his job, motercycle, license, girlfriend, friends and possibly health. You can't get any help when they're of age. We are so scared because as you know all don't survive. My best friend just buried her daughter and only child from drinking. She was 41. My heart is breaking for you all even though we don't know each other. It seems he touched so many people with his heart and generosity such a sad loss. RIP Kevin and prayers to your family.

I'm so saddened by the loss of your son and the devastation you are feeling. You are to be commended for the beautiful, illuminating, honest obituary you wrote. Two years ago my daughter died of her addiction, leaving five children. I too wrote an honest obituary and around here they copy it and use it in rehabs. Hopefully many lives will be affected by the heartfelt message and so deeply painful lesson. Thank you for being honest and sensitive.

Kevin was a big part of our family, especially to our son Chris Peifer. Chris and Kevin were always going places, planning something or just hanging out. Kevin was an amazing young man and always so polite and respectful. He would always lend a helping hand whenever needed.

I worked with Kevin very closely. We ate lunch together and we're friends. Kevin parker was a beautiful kid with the most amazing presence. He loved his son so much and had a great passion for helping others. I will miss him forever and the light that he shined while he was here overshadowed everything else.
