Obituary of Harry Morgan Cargile
Please share a memory of Harry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Harry Morgan Cargile, JR – Age 81– from Ballston Lake, NY - passed away on October 6th, 2024, at his home that he was so proud of, surrounded by his loving family including his wife of 58 years, Anne Marie Cargile.

Harry was born in Fall River, Massachusetts in 1943.
Harry was an army veteran – he served in the US army for 3 years serving as an SP4. He graduated with maximum honors from Springfield Technical Institute and then attended and graduated from Western New England College with both his bachelor's and master's degree and was an accomplished PE (Professional Engineer) in Mechanical Engineering. He owned his own business (Cargile Associates, Inc) before retirement. He was a master woods craftsman learning his trade from his grandfather, Roland Manchester. With his wife Anne – they created a small business they called Woodin Gifts – they worked together making and selling everything from unique cutting boards and mantle clocks to beautifully intricate ornaments. They would gift and sell items to friends and family and at local craft shows for years. He even shared that talent with some special friends (M&A). He was an avid gardener, liked to golf and was an honorary rotary member at Shen Rotary Club. And Harry was never without his signature hat.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Anne, children Sherri (Ron) Benner, Karri (Mike) Medina and Harry Cargile III. Grandchildren Anthony (Karra) Fusco, Laura (Mak) Benner, Alexander Fusco, Matthew (Emily) Benner, Megan (Aidan) Benner, Blaise Cargile. Siblings, Roy (Chris) Cargile and Leon (Beverly) Cargile.
