Clifton Park, NY. William E. Ford, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 2, 2024 with his loving wife Linda by his side. Born in Mount Kisco, NY, he was the son of the late William F. and Margaret E. (Webb) Ford. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Linda A. Timmons, two daughters, Shannon (Jeff) Bonesteel and Amanda Ford (Amanda Whittle). Bill is survived by one brother, Robert A. Ford and two sisters, Linda Sarles and Pamela Gonyea. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Griffin Bonesteel, Cole Bonesteel, and Juno Whittle-Ford. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Bill attended Fox Lane High School and was very proud of his service in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked for Verizon for many years prior to his retirement. Bill was proud of his work ethic, was extremely generous, and would help anyone who needed it. He was a great cook and enjoyed spending time at the Clifton Park Senior Center. Bill looked forward to his grandsons' football games. He had a great sense of humor and made those around him feel welcome. Bill never had a bad day. Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024from 10-12pm at the Catricala Funeral Home 1597 Rt. 9 Clifton Park. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12pm.
