Obituary of Regina C Parker

Halfmoon, NY. Regina C. Parker age, 76. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Ticonderoga NY she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Marie (Morgan) Croteau.
Regina was predeceased by her husband, Michael G. Parker, her son, Taylor A. Parker and her brother, Rhett Croteau.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Darcey K Parker, and her son, Brennen K (Michele) Parker. Adored her surviving grandchildren, B. Nicholas Parker and Emma A. Pickett, her siblings, Desiree Roberts (Tom), Travis Croteau, Monique Croteau, Tracey Leblanc, Tarquin "Tark' Croteau (Karen) many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Regina's formal education included Mercy High School, Maria College and Empire State College.
Regina taught at Our Lady of Mercy for a few years prior to motherhood. Regina's passion to serve shined in her role as Town of Halfmoon Council Woman for many years. Also working as an Administrator for FEMA. Holding other professional roles within the private sector. Regina worked tirelessly, along many supporters, in her work for both the Town of Halfmoon and Broader Saratoga County Republican Clubs. Never shied away from volunteerism from Siena Collage Parents Annual Fund to Clifton Park Soccer Club.
Regina loved spending time with her children and taking them to their sporting events. Cherishing their victories and accomplishments at track meets and soccer games. Never missing an opportunity to support. An avid New York Yankees fan. Loved owning and caring for both horses and dogs.
Her friends and family will always remember her kindness, generosity, and loving character. Her family will most miss her hugs, loving check-ins, zest for compassion and the ferocity in which she loved. The family gives a special thank you to Tarquin "Tark" Croteau for his tireless, heroic and unconditional love for his sister.
Calling Hours will be held on Monday August 5, 2024 at the Halfmoon Town Hall from 4-7pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 6, 2024 at 10am at the Halfmoon Town Hall. Burial to follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 11:30am.
Donations in lieu of flowers encouraged in memory of Regina to Character Counts, Town of Halfmoon, 2 Halfmoon Town Hall Paza Halfmoon, New York 12065.
