Obituary of Michael A Jones

Michael A. Jones of Clifton Park M. Andrew Jones age 58 of Clifton Park passed away unexpectedly Tuesday July 2,2024 at his home. He was the son of the late Bruce W. Jones and Jean C. Hammann. Michael worked in a variety of industries over the course of his life. He started in the restaurant business, where he met his wife, before moving on to working in a gallery and doing custom framing for 20 years then shifting into building maintenance for 10 years and most recently a truck delivery driver for ABC Supply. Since he was a child, Mike enjoyed camping and fishing with his family and friends, especially at Paradox Lake. After work, he frequently could be found relaxing with friends sharing a good joke or watching sports and was a lifelong Philly fan. He loved the occasional round of golf or working on his short game playing miniature golf with his family. But above all, he cherished spending time with his wife, daughter and late dog Angus. Michael leaves behind his wife of 34 years Linda, his daughter Alexandria, two brothers Christopher and Bruce (Darlina) Jones, a sister Sharon (Keith) Kissinger and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Tuesday July 9,2024 from 5 to 8 pm at the Catricala Funeral Home, Inc. 1597 Route 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065. The burial will be private in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the American Heart Association, 4 Atrium Drive #100, Albany, NY 12205.
