I met Ali when I was attending college at SUNY Oswego back in 2011-2012. We met in Japanese and started talking when we were seated next to each other. She always carried herself with such a joyous, cheerful energy and I was genuinely taken aback by how friendly she was. I liked her immediately. I never saw her without a smile on her face when we talked. Not once. It was the kind of smile that would light up an entire room, and no matter what kind of mood I was in, she never failed to get a smile out of me. After graduating in 2013, we fell out of touch but I would occasionally speak to her on Facebook to see how she’s doing. We hadn’t spoken since around 2017, but I would think about her quite often. She was the kind of beautiful, singular soul that you don’t easily forget. Knowing that she has passed away is truly devastating, and I send out my most sincere condolences to her family and loved ones. I am overwhelmingly grateful that she came into my life and brought so much kindness, compassion and inspiration. She will be deeply missed. Thank you for everything, Ali. Rest in Peace.

Words cannot express the profound sadness we feel for the loss of Ali. Our hearts are broken.
Ali, a ray of sunshine. Her kindness and exuberance for life touched so many; her smile was infectious.
She was of such strong character through and through. Whether it was catching the biggest bullfrog in the pond that lay out in front of her childhood home, or jumping on stage to entertain us, climbing a mountain with her parents, or filling her Easter basket the fullest and fastest of all the cousins on Easter weekends, she was a fearless contender, friend, daughter, niece and loyal sister.
I remember the day she confided in me about her desire for a career in television. Sure enough, within weeks there she was in the studio running the show and another goal of hers achieved. Such an extraordinary, remarkable, outgoing, and kind human being.
Ali, you will always be a part of our family, our soul, our fiber, and our hearts.
We love you forever. Rest in Peace.

Ali became my first friend in middle school. It meant so much to me and the connection was instantaneous. I will always cherish the memories of the countless adventures we shared together through the years.
I admired her for so many reasons, her creativity, her work ethic, her spontaneity, and her beauty.

The loss of a child is a pain no words can heal, may you all find comfort in the love and memories you shared with Ali. The photos are some fond memories Corinne and Julie shared with Ali in 1994 of the beautiful backyard garden of pumpkins, sunflowers and the best strawberries we’ve ever eaten. She was so proud of her garden as she took us around for a tour. The girls also reminded me of the best Easter Egg hunts with Ali and all the other cousins at her house….so much fun! Ali will live in our hearts forever, she will be eternally missed.

An open letter to my niece Ali,
The shock of loosing such a beautiful shining light
to the after life is almost incomprehensible to those we leave behind. We suffer most as parents and then for our earthly family members. I know you are safely in the arms of those closest to us. Two sets of grandparents, uncles and aunts, friends and foes.
I have three wishes to ask of you now Ali.
First wish: please find a way to let Jamie and your parents know you are fine and still with them, and you will be with them again. Tell them that the afterlife is real, God is real, you are real. Give them a sign of
of your truth.
Second Wish: Don’t blame yourself Ali. This was an accident. You would never have left them. You love them. You would never hurt them purposely.
Third: Say hi to Gram and Papa from us earthlings.

There are many memories we have of you, mostly from family get togethers and special occasions, so it’s hard to pick just one. But as I write this even now, what I take away most is what a joy and radiance you always brought whenever you were there. You couldn’t help but smile and be happy in your presence when you were there. You were the coolest, most hip person we knew, whether it be your fashion or who you were dating or your job. To our celebration of countless New Years, halloweens, St Patrick’s Days, birthdays and everything in between since we were teens, everything changed around us, but one thing that remained the same was our beautiful friendship. We truly grew up into adulthood together and I will cherish every last minute of that.
Ali was truly the most precious gift to this world. Her smile and laugh infectious, her go getter attitude was aspirational. She truly was a magnificent woman and I’m so grateful for experiencing decades of this amazing person.
My heart aches for loss a so tremendous. A pain I can’t even describe. I’m so incredibly sorry Dan, Linda and Jamie that you are all going through this. I promise to always keep her spirit alive and tell stories of our beloved, beautiful, charismatic Ali for eternity.

I dated Ali in late-2022 into early-2023 for a seemingly short six months but we spent a monolithic amount of time together and we both enjoyed every moment of it. My wife and I first met Ali two Christmas's ago while she was dating my son John. It was obvious that John and Ali shared a special bond for each other.. Ali exhibited a spirited, friendly, and bubbly personality which was infectious. Only one day of getting to know Ali and you felt as if she was a part of the family!
Finding out of her passing has brought deep sorrow to our hearts even though John and Ali eventually pursued their different ways...
From the entire Wasilenko family we send our deepest condolences to the Stewart family and Friends.
Though my wife and I had only known Ali on that Christmas day, we knew she was an exceptional young lady full of life and making mention of how much she cared for her family and especially her brother.
That Christmas day was extra special for our family. Ali fit right in as she brought a ray of sunshine not only to my son John, but to his brother Alex, my wife Karen and me.
Ali was a beautiful young lady inside and out. Ali exhibited a caring, friendly, genuine nature to our family that Christmas day, a Christmas our family will never forget.
Once again, from the Wasilenko family to the Stewart family our most heartfelt sympathies. Ali will truly be missed but her memory will always live on!
Ali was an inspiration for ALL who had the privilege to have known her. Ali was a VERY SPECIAL young lady whose time was cut far too short..
