Timothy James Fernet, age 44 of Halfmoon, passed away peacefully at Samaritan Hospital, in Troy on December 28th, 2023. He was born in Saratoga Springs, son of the late Ella M. Fernet. He also was predeceased by his sister, Maria L. Fernet and a nephew, Brandon Sylvester. Slim was a hardworking employee for Clifton Court Apartments, for 15 years, in general maintenance. He was also, a co-owner of Fernet Contracting LLC. He was very passionate and took pride in all of his work; he could build and fix anything! Slim was a family man, to the core. He was a proud husband and father. He enjoyed family and friends, get togethers, cookouts, camping and boating. He appreciated, outdoor activities and nature. He also honored his Mohawk Native American Indian heritage. Slim loved movie nights, sweet snacks; always a cookie in hand. He had the gift of gab, was funny and he was always laughing, He is survived by his wife of 25 years, April M. Fernet, his 5 children; Sydney. Aliyah, Mya, Timothy James, Jr. and Miley. He is also survived his father by, William E. Fernet, his siblings; 2 brothers, William E. Fernet Jr., Edward William Fernet and a sister, Ellie Mae (Timothy) Sylvester. Calling hours will be Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 9am until 12 noon, with a service at noon in the Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY. Burial will follow at St.Mary's Cemetery, in Waterford, NY. Memorial Contributions are a GoFundMe.com, under "We love you Slim."
