My condolences to Chuck's family and I wish you warm and joyful memories of a very good man and a gentleman. I worked at N. Y. Telephone and on the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid. Chuck ran that job and did a fantastic job. Chuck would always include me in his luncheon invitations for retirees, long after I retired and worked elsewhere. He worked with us at the Public Communications office at 8 Nolan Road as well. He was a great co-worker and an honorable man. May he be in God's arms and in all of your hearts.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the recent passing of Chuck. I had the distinct pleasure of working with him during our NY Telephone days and clearly his steady demeanor, leadership and strong work ethic set him apart from others in our sales organization. On a personal level, I found Chuck to be a man of high integrity who also happened to be a really nice guy and truly a wonderful dad/husband....as evidenced by the fine family he and Mickey raised. The family of Emily Rose Travers sends their condolences to Mickey and the rest of the Cronin family. Our Mother shared many good times growing up with Charles, and later on, we as well. This photo, from our Mom´s wedding, Oct 26,1946, was sent by Charles for her 50 th Wedding Anniversary Memory Book. Big smiles were on all their faces, sharing the joy of that special day! Over the years, we all shared happy times with Charles, on our visits to the Albany area and in correspondences. Our family has decided to plant a tree in a National Forest in memory of Charles. Our Mom loved her gardens, and especially the maple tree she brought down from Albany to plant in our yard on Long Island. She would love the idea of a tree for Charles´ memory. His legacy will live on! Sending our love and prayers to all.
