Debbie and I were best friends all through high school and then some. We were together ALL the time, either at each other houses, working at Woolworths, driving in her car, or in school. Her dad used to call us two peas in a pod, frick and frack, and others that I just cannot think of right now. There is not a memory of mine from high school that does not include Debbie. We were not as close in college, but we were still friends and in each other’s weddings. But we lost touch as the years went by, we both had kids and life just took its turns. I chatted with her only a few times over the years, but we always exchanged Christmas cards as old friends do. I was so sorry to hear of her passing and am still just shocked. I do not live in the Albany area anymore, but I wish I did so I could go to her services. My sympathies are with you Jeff, Jeffrey, and Ashley, I cannot imagine what an emptiness she has left in your lives.
This picture is one of the fun ones I have of her that shows her silliness and the fun we always had. When we saw it after it was developed and it had the ring around her, we were just so impressed with ourselves and our photo abilities, although we had no idea it would turn out like this!

I was friends with Debbie in high school. We connected because we both had red hair but I was always jealous of how well she tanned. I certainly did not. She was a good friend. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Your memories will remain in your heart. Keep them close. Always talk about her. It will help eventually.

A funny memory of have of Debbie it’s when I was getting close to giving birth to my youngest child. Ashlee was born almost a year to the day before my son was. Debbie didn’t want me to have the baby on Ashlee ‘s birthday and she kept calling me and saying he gonna come any time soon ? My son was born around 1130 at night the day before Ashlee ‘s birthday so now we didn’t have to worry about our two little ones having to share a birthday.
