Ed was very kind to me from the first time I met him at the Museum to the last time we talked. I admired Ed very much and appreciated his demeanor, his work advice, and his good humor. He had no need to be kind to me but he was. He's an angel in my heart always.

Edward and I shared stories via email then we talked as if we had know each other forever, that’s what family do.
We finally met at an unfortunate time during our cousin’s, home going service in 2019. And never to meet again, is heartbreaking.

Ed was one of a kind. He was my mentor when I first joined Shenendehowa Rotary and remained a treasured friend thereafter. We shared a love of fast, classic cars, music and joined our fellow Rotarians in fundraising events, service projects and "all things Rotary." He will be missed.

I was shocked to learn that we'd lost Ed. I worked with him for many years at the New York State Museum. He was always warm, fun loving, supportive, and willing to help. You couldn't ask for a better friend or colleague. Ed was the best.

Nancy and family,
Ed was like the big brother, to many of us who worked at the museum, starting in the 70’s! It was like an extended family. It wasn’t just working together, but “hanging out”, outside of work. Bren and Jason coming to work with him sometimes, made the family bigger and when we started our own families, the museum family got bigger and better. Those of us “who worked the exhibit floor” have wonderful memories of Eddie B., oh the stories! I personally feel that being his friend and colleague, was a privilege and that there is a huge loss in his passing. His enthusiasm for life was contagious and I will miss “Boompa”.
Know that I am thinking of all of you and send much love.
