I worked with Joann for many years. She was always so friendly and nice to everyone. One night my husband and I were at the Outback restaurant, and there was over an hour long wait for a table. So we sat at the bar and we waited for a table to become available. Joann was there with her husband sitting at one of the booths in the bar area, and she noticed us sitting at the bar. She came right over to the bar and said, you're welcome to sit with us, we have a nice big booth. We declined, as we didn't want to infringe on their dinner. Just the thought of her coming over and acknowledging both of us, meant a lot to us. It was so thoughtful. She remembered who we were, and didn't want us to have to wait an hour or more for a table. Tina and Bob, we are so sorry for your loss. Your mother (mother-in-law), although quiet most of the time, was just genuinely a very kind person. Our sincerous sympathy. I know she will be missed by all who loved her.
