Obituary of Mary Jane McDermott

Mary Jane McDermott, age 97 of Latham passed away peacefully on January 9, 2023. Born on August 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Tessie Fus. She was predeceased by her husband Francis McDermott, and her daughter-in-law Lynda McDermott.

Mary Jane worked in the library at Shaker High School in Latham for many years. She was an avid golfer and belonged to Van Schaik Island Country Club.

She is survived by her sons Taylor McDermott, and Randy (Holly) McDermott, grandchildren Ryan (Gina), Kelly (Joshua), Shawn, and Kelsey, great-grandchildren Donovan, Declan, and Liliana, and several nieces and nephews.

Following Mary Jane’s wishes, all funeral services will be private.
