Obituary of Frank J. Markowski Sr.

Frank J. Markowski Sr., age 76 of Halfmoon passed away peacefully on December 30, 2022. Born on July 8, 1946, he was the son of the late John and Caroline Markowski. He was predeceased by his brother John Markowski Jr.

Frank spent his career working for several oil companies in the Port of Albany for over 25 years. He was a member of the son of the American Legion Post 1450 in Halfmoon and was an avid New Orleans Saints fan.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Markowski, children Frank Markowski Jr., Michelle Markowski, Tina Sawyer, Mary-Jo Carlo, Carl Bauer Jr., and Lisa Jean Bauer. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private in accordance with Frank’s wishes.
