Obituary of Joseph L. Manchester

Joseph L. Manchester, age 76 of Halfmoon passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. He was born on May 12, 1938. He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Irene (Haluska) Manchester and brother Thomas Manchester.
Joe attended Middleburgh Central School, and enlisted in the US Navy followed by the US Army and received an honorable discharge in 1957. Joe was a coin dealer for most of his life, and also sold sports cards. He was an avid basketball and football fan and loved watching Encore on TV.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Manchester, sons John and Joseph Manchester, brother Albert Manchester, sister-in-law Barbara Manchester, and good friends Bill Panitch and Jeffrey Monaco.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a service at 11 a.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
