It was an honor and a pleasure to care for her the last few years. We had such great laughs together. She was always so positive no matter what. I came up with a nick name for herTessola who does to much and she would be in hysterics over it. She was such a kind loving person. She will be truly missed by me.

We remember that Tess was so welcoming to share what she had. She represented her Italian culture so beautifully. And, she represented the Lord Jesus Christ so well by her loving presence, her smile, her hope, and loving ways. We know her family will miss her very much, just as her church family will.

Tess's earthly story has concluded, and now she lives forever with the One who has been the source of her comfort, peace, and joy. We remember you fondly, Tess. Blessed rest, my friend.

I was fortunate to have so many memories with my Grandmother. She was almost like a third parent to me. No matter what phase of life I was in, for better or worse, she always had nothing but love for me. Her family was strong and tightknit from my perspective. I enjoyed sitting around her kitchen table (which she gave to me over 10 years ago) for meals and getting to know her brothers and sisters and the rest of her family and friends. I have the same style as she did when preparing meals for my family. Always getting back up out of her chair to get something else for someone else, though she truly seemed to enjoy it!
She introduced me to spirituality. I remember the most constant aspect of her was caring for older women in her family and community...and trying to feed me and give me food at every encounter. Even the last time I went to visit her she had chocolate and snacks in her room she asked me to get for my mother, brother, and my youngest daughter Sierra. She even had coloring books on that occasion for Sierra. Sierra had a strong bond with her Great-grandmother too, whom my children called GG.
She endured so much loss in life, but never gave up on faith or love. I will miss her always

I will remember two things about Tess. She was full of joy and that joy encouraged others. This despite some very painful losses in her life. If I encourage 1/2 the people she did, I would count myself blessed.
The second is that she served God right up to the end. When she could drive she was a regular at Wed night prayer meetings. After she moved to the rest home we heard constant reports about how she encouraged and ministered to the staff there. In her quiet way, she was a might force for the kingdom of God.
