My deepest sympathy to the family. Connie and my father, Emmett, were housemates at the Eddy Village Green. Although Alzheimer's had taken its sad toll with Connie, she nevertheless always wore a smile and greeted everyone with a warm "hello." After reading the wonderful tribute to such a fine woman, it would seem that some things never change.
May your memories of Connie bring you comfort and peace.

Thank you for sharing your mother's tribute, Willow. Such an extraordinary woman... serving in North Africa & Sicily in WWII, then returning home and raising 5 kids!
Thinking of you and your siblings and Jim and Ted.
With my condolences,
Mary

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Connie's passing. She was a wonderful woman who was so dedicated to keeping in touch through regular letters with my grandmother, even in the last years of her life when she also was suffering with Alsheimer's and could not respond. I remember visiting Aunt Connie when we were in Florida and also when Aunt Connie came to Utica to Aunt Nan's house. Although I and my family are unable to be at the wake or funeral, please know that we are thinking of you.

I extend my deepest sympathy to the loving family of
my dear friend, Connie. She was the sweetest and dearest
friend to me and the nicest person I have known.
I met Connie at our exercise class at Heathplex in Clifton Park
and was drawn to her because she was so special. Everyone in
the class loved her. We were amazed at how she was exercising at
92 and she always looked so pretty and wore jewelry that her
daughters bought for her. I loved her.
May she rest in peace.
Fondly, Trudy
