I was both shocked and saddened to accidentally come across Greg's obituary. He looked exactly the same as he did when I dated him 25+ yrs ago when we were just out of college. The things about him that stand out in my memory the most is his great big smile and his sense of humor. He did love his rugby! I had the pleasure of meeting the family and it was obvious how close knit you all were. My sincere condolences for your loss. Garth, im so sorry hon!

My condolences to the Truesdale family. Greg was a coworker of mine at Verizon, and discovered we had a mutual friend in the Albany Rugby league, the late Jake Spiak. I am imagining them in Heaven in rugby uniforms running their tails off...gone to soon.

How sad we are to learn of Gregory's passing. We cannot imagine your pain. We extend arms of sympathy and comfort to surround the family. Gregory was 6 or 7 years old when we moved next door to the Truesdale's. We remember his sweet, innocent and eager face. He was filled with curiosity. I (John) was an auto enthusiast and Greg and I would chat about cars and I would show him pictures of Ferrari's and he liked the way they looked. He would call them Fiari's. Some years later I borrowed a Ferrari from a friend and I stopped by and took Greg for a short spin in the neighborhood. We know later on, that Greg loved his Rugby. It has been said that "Rugby is a ruffian's sport played by gentlemen while Soccer is a gentlemen's sport played by ruffians". Gregory was a gentleman. So many wonderful memories of him, Recently I (Debbie) came across a little wooden plaque he made me with LOVE made of dough letters painted in green. The world has lost a a kind spirit. We are so so sorry for your loss and send love and prayers to you all.

Greg & I were coworkers and friends since the day he started at Verizon in Troy. After I retired at the end of 2017, we continued to talk on the phone. I was stunned & deeply saddened when I heard of his passing. May he rest in peace. My sincerest condolences to his entire family during this most difficult time.
