Obituary of Dennis J. McGloine

Dennis J. McGloine, 60 of Mechanicville, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021 at the Lee Health Care Facility in Lee, MA after a long battle with Huntington’s Disease. He was born on April 12th, 1960 in Albany. He was predeceased by his mother Constance A. McGloine. Dennis was a 1978 graduate of Mechanicville High School. Prior to his illness, he was employed by Raymour & Flanigan in Niskayuna. He was an avid musician, playing the drums and singing with the Jimmy Mack band for 25 years. He enjoyed listening to the Beatles, Rush and U2. He loved riding his Harley, mountain biking and spending time in the Adirondacks at his Uncle Al's camp. He was proud of his Irish Heritage. He is survived by his beloved wife Maureen McGloine, father James (Gay McKinney) McGloine, daughter Valerie (Charlie Turner) McGloine, brother Daniel (Brenda) McGloine, mother-in-law Pam Cicchinelli, brother-in-law Paul (Lisa) Cicchinelli. aunt Flo McGloine, uncle Ricky Decasperis, nephews Anthony and Nicholas Cicchinelli, many cousins, and his former wife Bridget Bultman. Calling hours will be held on Friday January 15th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, in Clifton Park.
