So very sad to learn that I’ve lost a friend and fishing buddy. Glad that we got on the water the past two seasons. Bill always had good stories to share on the boat or when I stopped by the house. He usually had a project going. He’ll be missed very much.

Dear Pfaffenbach family, I considered Bill my best friend for many years . So, so sorry to hear of his passing. We shared great fishing trips, ski trips, etc. My favorite memories include sharing many funny emails - lots of them political! I spoke to him not too long ago and he will be dearly missed in my life. Rest In Peace my dear friend Bill. David Axton

We were so sorry to read about the passing of your beloved father and brother Bill. Monday night football with your father and grandfather were such a delight and Bill and Julia always welcomed us into their home. The Pfaffenbach brothers were wonderful friends. May the fond memories you all shared of Bill sustain you in your loss.
With our deepest sympathy,
Clyde and Carolyn DeWeese

Never was there a more pleasant and agreeable soul than Bill, longtime husband of my high school classmate Connie. Hard to believe that he is gone. -- Carl Strock

Debbie, Kurt and Karl,
My wife Bev and I went to HVCC with your Dad. There were a few of us that hung around with each other and when we married we went to each others weddings and when children were born we would still get together. As time went on we went in different directions, but never forgot the great memories we shared. We now live in Florida most of the year, but come up to NY for some of the summer. When Connie passed away we were up there and went to the viewing. It was so good to talk to your Dad after so many Years had passed. We will keep your Dad and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Herb and Bev Cole

Will always fondly remember many days on the slopes throughout NY and VT, as well as training for and participating on the Olympic Ski Patrol with Bill.
Bill made friends easily. I remember Jean Claude Keely (the former downhill champion) calling out to Bill in accented English..." hello Beell" during the World Cup (year prior to Olympics).
We worked hard and skied hard. Bill enjoyed EVERY MINUTE.
RIP Bill, you will missed by ALL.

I first met Bill 40 years ago when I became his neighbor
Soon afterward ,we became friends. Over the years I learned to respect him and appreciate the excellent qualities he displayed. He and his late wife were guests at our table and as we were at theirs .After his wife died he became a frequent guest at my home when Connie would always make him a big dinner.
Sadly Connie and I last saw him on Thursday evening when she made one of his favorite dinners and desserts.
Rest in peace our dear friend.
Your friends Mike Reilly and Connie Jensen
