Obituary of Tina P. Gettle

Tina P. Gettle, age 55 of Halfmoon passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 29, 2019. She was the daughter of the late James Whitten and Harriet (Edward) Brown . She was predeceased by her husband George Everett Gettle Jr., her step-father Roger L. Hayes Sr., and many predeceased siblings. Tina spent her life taking care of others; working as a home care aide and raising her family. She loved nature and enjoyed going on walks in the woods. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her son Steven Jones Jr, daughter’s Raelyn (J.R.) Muldoon, Tiffany Gettle and many others that considered her mom. Many nieces and nephews that loved her very much. Sister’s Penny (Donald) Cole, and Barbara Whitten, her brother’s Roger L. Hayes Jr., and James (Donna) Whitten Jr. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Cory, Marco, TayLana, Lilianne, and Malachi. Predeceased by her grandaughter Kalista. In accordance with Tina’s wishes, all services will be private. Donations may be made in her memory to the Hospice of Saratoga County, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
