I only knew Deb for a relatively short time at OPWDD before I retired in late 2015, but I had tremendous respect for her achievements, her intelligence, and her enthusiasm for life. I’m saddened to learn of her death. Hers was the kind of spirit that the world needs.

I am so very sorry for your loss. What I liked about Deb was her winning smile and her energy. For a little spite fire, she sure had that. She will surely be missed.

I met Debbie through my sister, Cheryl Foust, who also had Turners Syndrome. Deb and Cheryl lived together in CT for a bit. I became fast friends with her there, had a wonderful time in Mexico together, and have corresponded regularly since.
My prayers are with you all, and I share your loss.
RIP my kindhearted dear friend.

Even though I've only known Debbie for a short time she gave me inspiration and encouragement .I said how could a person endure this...and still have the personality and high spirits. Her face always glowed with laughter . I am going to miss her at the Half Moon diner . I will save a seat for her any time she wants. Wayne feels the same. Damn I miss her.! I will never forget.

My heart is so heavy and my prayers are with you Sandy, David and family. Debbie was my friend and roommate at St. Anselm College. Through all these years she was an inspiration to me, and as we grew older I marveled even more at her bright spirit, optimism and determination. I'm sorry we didn't spend more time together, but I will always cherish the memories, visits, calls and texts we did share. Please know how much Deb was loved by her friends and how much she loved all her family.

When I think of Debbie, I always picture her with a huge smile on her face. Despite any challenges she faced, she was always just so darned positive and pragmatic. I can’t express how sad I am that she is gone. My love to you all during this very difficult time.
