Obituary of Dale A. Samson

Dale A. Samson, age 73 of Glenville passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Ellis Hospital. Born on June 11, 1945, he was the son of the late Warren and Jessie Samson. He was predeceased by his son Dale A. Samson, Jr.

 Dale started his career with General Electric in Schenectady and retired after 35 years with Momentive in Waterford. In his retirement Dale enjoyed volunteering as a peace officer with the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office. He served in the NY Air National Guard for many years.

He is survived by his daughter Rebecca (Kevin) Tollisen, grandsons Matthew and Timothy, brother Clifford Samson, and nephews Richard, Nathan (Paige), and Jonathan.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 4^th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a funeral service at 12 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9 in Clifton Park. Burial will be private.
