Obituary of Barbara A. Peters

Barbara A. Peters, 83 of Rexford, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Lucille Dietz. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Peters.

Barbara attended Brown Business School in St. Louis and worked for KLM and Pan Am Airlines before marrying her husband Richard. She and her husband resided in Oswego for 50 years, where Richard was an optometrist. Barbara enjoyed cooking for her family, playing cards with her friends, and loved travel adventures. She was also an avid reader, loved her gardens and was very active in her community and her church.

She is survived by her son Gregory (Alexis) Peters, and granddaughter Katherine and Charlotte Peters.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 5^th at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Coburg Village, 1 Coburg Village Way, Rexford, NY 12148.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Church of the Resurrection, 120 W 5th St, Oswego, NY 13126.
