Obituary of Dorothy McGaurn

Dororthy McGaurn, age 90, of Halfmoon passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 23^rd. Born on February 18^th, 1928 in Scranton Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Scrobiak. She was predeceased by her loving husband Dr. Edward J. McGaurn, and her son Brian McGaurn. She drove as school bus driver in South Jersey for 25 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who gave selflessly to her family. Her joy in life was spending time with her family. She is survived by her son Edward McGaurn, her daughter Dr. Diane Iwaniec, her son in-law Dr. Robert Iwaniec, her sister’s Roberta and Joyce, and her brother Bob as well as her loving grandchildren who she adored, Alec, Jenna and her husband Sean, Robert, and Nicholas.
