Obituary of Mona Gregoire

Mona Gregoire, age 80 of Cohoes passed away on Monday February 12, 2018 at her home. Born on May 1, 1937 in Halfmoon, she was the daughter of the late George and Monica Gregoire. She was predeceased by her sister Lea Marras, and her daughter-in-law Jennifer Gilligan.

Mona was a 1957 graduate from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing with an RN Degree. She had an exemplary work ethic and served as Head Nurse of the Intensive Care Unit and ER at Memorial Hospital, worked at Red Cross and was a highly regarded Private Duty Nurse who took care of critically ill infants. She was very active in her church and served countless hours volunteering.

She is survived by her sons Brian and Arthur Palazzolo, brother George (Susan) Gregoire, and her grandson Logan.

There will be a Service dedicated to Mona at Blessed Virgin Mary of Czestochowa,  250 Old Maxwell Rd., in Latham on Sunday, May 20^th at 9am followed by a Celebration of Life Reception. For more info, please email CelebrationofLife@Livewire4.com
