Obituary of Marcia A. Ronsani

Marcia A. Ronsani, age 67 of Hudson passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. Born on June 10, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Allyn and Rose Stalker of Ravena.

Marcia earned her Bachelor’s degree in English and her Master’s degree in Education from SUNY Albany.  She was devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren.  Her career was spent as a dedicated teacher, teaching English at Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School for several years, and working as a substitute teacher for many schools throughout Columbia County.  Literature was a passion for Marcia and she was an avid reader.  She also loved to cook and bake, crochet for her grandsons, and enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers in her garden.  Her generous and kind spirit and warm smile will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her husband Carmine Ronsani, daughter Adrienne Ronsani (William Nottingham), son Jonathan (Jennifer) Ronsani, her sister Denise (Dennis) Carman, brothers Lynn (Beth) Stalker and Gary (Michelle) Stalker, grandsons Sam and Charlie, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m., with a service at 11 a.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
