The whole family is in my thoughts and prayers at this time. My heart is broken as Jeff was such an important part of some of my best childhood memories in Clifton Gardens - Kashmiri Terrace.
I remember him lovingly refering to me as “Bethy” or “Rain-in -the-face” (the Indian Princess name I earned as a child!) Then there was the annual Christmas caroling - when Jeff leaned over and shared that it was okay for me to mouth the words! (A hint I didn’t take as I desperately tried to participate in chorus for years to come - unsuccessfully!)
He loved my Mom’s potato salad and they enjoyed winning the Jitterbug contest as partners (thoroughly disgusted that Dad and MaryAnn partnered and won second place.)
Most of all, I remember this amazing man being like family throughout my childhood and always being there through thick and thin. He will be dearly missed and I am certain he is enjoying a beer with my Dad and looking down lovingly on all of us.
