I just recently learned of Billy’s passing and would like to offer my sincere condolences to the entire Gilleece and extended family. I grew up across the street from Billy and remember him well as a boy and young adult. His older brother John was one of my best friends. On several occasions, I recall Billy telling me about Rugby and his kayaking. As life often takes us in different directions, I lost touch with Billy. Yet, I remember him fondly as well as John, Jay, and the entire Gilleece family. I think about the old days a lot and how they are even more precious to me now. Thank you

Bill was a great friend. I enjoyed all the time we spent together, especially our walks on sunny Wednesday afternoons. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was quick to laugh at my most ridiculous jokes. His love for his family was always evident. His appreciation for what they so easily did for him, was expressed frequently to me. He loved you all so dearly. Seaneen, you and bill have taught me a great deal about appreciating the little things in life. You, my friend, are an inspiration. God bless you all.

Seaneen, you and the boys have been amazing throughout Bill's illness and I have been honored to have considered Bill a friend. I cannot imagine how this loss will impact all of you, since he was such a central component to each and every day. His attitude and zest for life, was something I would share with my patients, when they would start feeling sorry for themselves. I am grateful for his friendship and so thankful for the last time we spent time with the two of you. Beth and I will keep that memory in our hearts forever.
