Obituary of Anna M. Halbert

M. Halbert, age 84 of Clifton Park passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Born in Alzey, West Germany, she was the daughter of the late Hans and Anna.

Anna worked as a secretary at a US Air Base in Germany. Upon her arrival in the USA, she worked for Chase Manhattan Bank in NYC, and last worked as a bookkeeper at the St. Moritz Hotel in Lake Placid. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and tending to her lawn and garden at home. She loved to go on her daily walks in her neighborhood.

She is survived by her daughters Florence and Jeanette (Craig), her son Leonard, and her brother Hans. She is also survived by her grandchildren Drew, Charlotte, Brennen, and her nephew Bernd.

A gathering will be held on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, in Clifton Park, with a service at 11 a.m.
