Obituary of Joseph G. Loubier

Joseph G. Loubier, age 84 of Halfmoon passed away at home on Monday, September 5, 2016. He was the son of the late Joseph R. and Cecile Loubier. He was predeceased by his first wife, Loretta Schelling Loubier, and his siblings, Roger, Walter, and Norman. Joseph spent his career working for the Shenendehowa Central School District. He was an avid bowler and competed in many leagues, both locally and in Florida. He enjoyed spending summers with his wife Diane at their camp in East Berne. He attended the Grace Fellowship Church in Halfmoon for many years. He is survived by his wife, Diane Coolidge Loubier, daughter Laurie (Jim) Salmon, son Jimmy (Diane) Loubier, sister Lucille Bruno, and granddaughters, Vicki Loubier, and Meghan and Jillian Salmon. A calling hour will be held on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
