Obituary of Edward Barry

Edward Barry, age 90 of Clifton Park passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Martin and Gertrude Barry. Edward served in the Army Air Corps during WWII before graduating with his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from RPI. He was employed by the NYS Dept. of Transportation for 33 years. He was a longtime member of St. Marys’ Church in Crescent, and most recently belonged to St. Edward’s Church. He is survived by his wife of 51 years; Kathleen Barry, four children, one son-in-law, and one granddaughter. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the St. Edward’s Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd, Clifton Park with a funeral Mass on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Waterford.
