Kate attended Clifton Park United Methodist Church as my family were also attendants.
It was preached one Sunday service that adult baptism should be considered because although we are baptized as babies, we should take the extra step with Christ to commit our faith as adults. I was motivated to do whatever it took, to honor God and get baptized. We have a full-size in ground pool and I later on questioned our pastor to consider using our pool for a baptism. He agreed and announced the following Sunday, that besides making my personal decision to be baptized in my backyard pool, I also wanted to offer the opportunity for anyone else feeling the spirit to do the same. Kate felt led by The Holy Spirit and without hesitation, we were gathered next to our pool, in a pose of respect and commitment, and were each immersed on Aug. 12th 2006.
I share this memory of Kate and hope that others will be led to think about their own personal salvation; not because I care and ask, but because God cares and asks.

Kay was my boss, my mentor, my friend...the kind if family you choose for yourself. We shared many great adventures; and I will hold these memories in my heart. ...From picnics and miniature golf to dinners and catching a band, she was always up for fun.
Rest in peace, Kay. I know you are happy, now, back with Linda and Paul, and Jack. They were always with you. Rejoice in the
Promise. Til we meet again, dear friend...
