Obituary of Jane A. Kinney

Jane A. Kinney, age 86 of Clifton Park passed away on Friday October 16, 2015 at Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home. She was born on January 28, 1929, the daughter of Cecil and Opal Gabler. Jane received her Master’s in Education from the University of Toledo. She was a teacher in Toledo, OH for over 35 years. She taught elementary school and at Whitmer High School. She taught her students life skills rather than just focusing on academics. She was a devout Christian, and loved reading her Bible. She was involved with running or attending a home Bible fellowship for decades. Jane also loved her 22 ft. Catalina sailboat. Most of all, she enjoyed McDonald’s, Diet Coke, and Hershey bars. She is survived by her daughter Judy (Robert) Hull, sons; Jay (Karla) Kline, and Joe Dan Kline, grandchildren; Holly (Francis) Davanzo, Jeffrey (Melissa) Hull, Kylen, Jordan, Onye, and Taylor Kline, and great-grandchildren Alaina and Dominic Davanzo; Aiden, Owen, Isaac Hull, and Cambria Kline. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th at 11 a.m. at the Living Hope Community Church, 458 Old Niskayuna Rd., Latham, NY 12110. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Abiding Faith Ministry, 5 Crestmont Dr., Clifton Park, NY 12065.
