Obituary of Lawrence A. Palmer

Lawrence A. Palmer Sr., age 65 of Clifton Park, passed away on September 8, 2015. Born on February 26, 1950 in Albany, he was the son of the late Ralph Palmer and June LaMunyon. Larry graduated from Shaker High School in 1969 and immediately enlisted in the Army and served until 1973. He worked for the NYS OGS as a building supervisor. He enjoyed music, sports cars and bowling. He loved fishing and fished right up until the end of his life. He is survived by his children, Lawrence Jr, Kimberly, Chad, Mandi and Jeffrey Palmer, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and his brothers, Dale (Sharon) and Mike Palmer as well as several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held for Larry at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc. on Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A memorial service with military honors will be held at Saratoga National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
