Rita G. Burnetter, age 91 of Rensselaer, passed away on July 30, 2015. She was born on February 29, 1924 in Manchester, NH. She was predeceased by her 3 sisters and 1 brother.
She owned and operated Calico Sue Dress Shop in Troy for many years and worked as an administrative assistant for Brockway Motor Company.
She is survived by her son, James (Nancy) Burnetter, grandchildren, Michelle (Bob) Pindar and Scott (Susan) Burnetter and great grandchild, Emily Wilson.
Services for Rita will be private.
Rita’s family would like to extend a thank you to the staff of Van Rensselaer Manor Nursing Home for their kindness and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Community Reformed Church, 1010 Route 146, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
